I feel like I have thousands of paintings inside me, just waiting to be expressed. Capturing and sharing holy moments in plein air of sanctuary spaces is what appeals to me. I appreciate all plein air art - there is just something about being outdoors, the sounds, the light, the calm, the raw beauty that surrounds me. I don't take it for granted. It all soothes my soul, keeps me calm, keeps me grounded in what is really important. I love that others can capture the beauty in anything - from back alleys, to shop windows to traffic; and I guess my gift is to express intuitively how I feel in my surroundings more than capturing exactly what I see. I don't have the patience for realism - I just want to share the joy that is here.
